Both vitamins therefore fulfil different functions in the body's normal development.

Folate and vitamin B12

Folate and vitamin B12 are also important nutrients. Both have a role in the process of cell division and are involved in closely connected metabolic processes.

CORE Kids contains folate in the form of 5-MTHF and vitamin B12 as methylcobalamin and adenosylcobalamin.

2. Energy & vitality

Children are constantly on the move. Metabolism plays an important role in releasing and utilising energy from food.

That is why CORE Kids contains a comprehensive B-vitamin complex, including vitamins B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, biotin, folate and vitamin B12.

Each B vitamin has its own specific function. Several B vitamins contribute to normal energy-yielding metabolism. Vitamins B2, B3, B5, B6, folate and B12 also contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.

Choline is also a component of phospholipids, which play an important role in cell membranes, and a precursor of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter involved in signal transmission within the nervous system.

Choline also plays a role in methyl metabolism, where it is functionally connected to metabolic processes involving folate and vitamin B12.

With VitaCholine™, the vitamin complex is complemented by an additional nutrient with a range of biological functions.

Lactowise® combines the bacterial strain Weizmannia coagulans MTCC 5856 with galactomannan derived from fenugreek, a plant-based ingredient.

The bacterial strain can form protective spores that are resistant to the acidic conditions of the stomach, helping it survive passage through the stomach.

With Lactowise®, CORE Kids contains an additional combination of a specific bacterial strain and a plant-based ingredient.
